Let the one number be 'x'

Then, The other number will be 'x + 3'

According to the question,

$\sf{:⟹2x + 3 = 23}$

$\sf{:⟹2x = 23 - 3}$

$\sf{:⟹2x = 20}$

$\sf{:⟹x = \cancel{ \dfrac{20}{2} }}$

Hence, The required numbers are,
