Let x , y are two accute angles in

a right triangle.

It is given that ,

x = 50° ,

We know that ,

x + y = 90°

=> 50° + y = 90°

=> y = 90° - 50°

=> y = 40°

Therefore ,

Required second acute angle (y) = 40°
