A Right angle has a 90° And 2 acute angles.

Let,the other acute angle be x.

One of the acute angle is 42°.

90°+42°+ x =180°

132°+ x =180°

x =180°-132°

x =48°

Therefore,the other acute angle is 48°.

Answer:

Question :

One of the acute angles of a right-angled triangle is 42°. Find the other acute angle.

To find :

  • We need to find the other acute angle.

Answer :

We all know that ,

  • Sum of 3 angles in a triangle is 180°.

  • A right angle has 90°.

Given :

Acute angles :

  • 90° ( Right Angled triangle )

  • 42°

Let the other angle be x.

Now,

90°+42°+ x = 180°  \\  \\ 132°+x=180° \\  \\ x= 180° - 132°  \\  \\ x = 48° \\  \\

Therefore, the other angle is 48°.

Step by step procedure :

  • Firstly , add all angles.

  • Then , simplify them and we get the x value.

  • Now , the answer is found.

More to know :
