One of the exteroir angles of a triangle is 100*. The interior opposite angles are equal to each other. Find the measure of these equal interior opposite angles.

Let the equal angles be x

Exterior angle = sum of interior opposite angles

100=x+x

100=2x

100/2=x

50=x

Sum of interior and exterior angles = 180 degrees


If exterior angle = 100 degrees

Then,sum of interior angles = 180-100 = 80 degrees


As per the question, interior opposite angles are equal..


Linear equation for the same

= 2x = 80 (where x is each interior angle)

x = 80÷2

x = 40 degrees
