GIVEN :-

  • Principal (P) = Rs. 1000
  • Rate (R) = Rs. 10% p.a
  • Time (T) = 3 years

TO FIND :-

  • Simple interest (S.I)
  • Amount (A) .

SOLUTION :-

S.I = (P × R × T)/100

⇒ (1000 × 10 × 3)/100

⇒ 10 × 10 × 3

⇒ 100 × 3

300

Hence Simple interest (S.I) is Rs. 300.

Amount (A) = P + S.I

⇒ 1000 + 300

1300

Hence Amount (A) is Rs.1300

VERIFICATION :-

S.I = A - P

⇒ 300 = 1300 - 100

⇒ 300 = 300

L.H.S = R.H.S
