area of a trapezium = 1/2×h(a+b)
side1=x
side2=2x
height =5cm
area=45cm^2
1/2×5 (x+2x)=45
1/2×15x=45
15x=45×2
15x=90
x=90/15
x=6
2x=12
the parallel sides are 6cm and 12 cm
hope it helps
