one of the two digits of a two digit number is three times the other digit.if you interchange the digits of this two digit number and add the resulting number to the origional number you get 88. what is the origional number.

The number is 62. Because 2 x 3 = 6 which is the tens digit and when interchanged whichis 26 and added to the original you get 88.
