Let the number at tens place be x and units place be y.

Therefore, the required number is :

10x+y

From first condition,

x=4y

From second condition,

10x+y+10y+x=110

11x+11y=110

x+y=10............ (2)

4y+y=10.........From (1)

5y=10

y=10/5

y=2

Substituting the value of y in (1)

x=4y

x=4×2

x=8

Therefore,

The original number:

10x+y=10×8+2

=82
