One pipe can fill a tank in (x-2)hrs and the other pipe can empty the pipe in (x+2)hrs.If the tank is empty and both the pipes are opened together ,the tank is filled completely in 24 hrs.Find out how much time will second pipe take to empty the tank ?

Please help with this , I've already asked this once already but have not got the correct response!

Let there are two pipes A and B.

A can fill the tank in 1 hour =

  \frac{1}{x - 2}  \: part

B can empty the tank in 1 hour=

 \frac{1}{x + 2} part

ATQ,

 \frac{1}{x - 2}   -  \frac{1}{x + 2} =  \frac{1}{24}

 \frac{4}{ {x}^{2} - 4 }   =  \frac{1}{24}

 {x}^{2} - 4  = 96 \\  {x}^{2}  = 100 \\ x = 10

Now,

B will empty the tank in (x+2)hr=10+2=12hr
