Let,
Length of rectangle = L
Breadth of rectangle = B
Area of rectangle = A
If Length increased 60% then new Length = 1.6L
Let new Breadth = X
Since the area is same for both triangle,
LB = 1.6LX
Cancelling L both side
B = 1.6X
X = B/1.6 = 0.625B
New Breadth is 62.5% of original breadth.
