one says give me a hundred,friend :i shall then become twice as rich as you .the other replies ,if you give me ten, i shall be six times a rich as you . tell me what is the amount of their capital​

let the money with friend 1 be rs x and friend 2 be rs y

when friend 1 gives rs 100

money left with him=x-100

money with friend 2 =y+100

according to the question ,

2(x-100)=y+100

2x-200=y+100

2x-y=100+200

2x-y=300...(1)

now, if friend 2 gives rs ten

money left with friend 2 =y-10

money with friend 1=x+10

according to the question,

6(y-10)=x+10

6y-60=x+10

6y-x=10+60

6y-x=70...(2)

X = 40, Y = 170
