100cm

in a parallelogram opposite pair of parallel sides are equal

Given one side= 50 cm and corresponding altitude or height= 8cm

Area of parallelogram = side × height

                                       =  50 × 8

                                        = 400cm²

now to find the length of other side

we have area= side × height

        400      =   side ×4

hence side 400/4= 100 cm

length of other pair of parallel side 100cm
