One side of a parallelogram is 16 cm and the distance of this side from the opposite side 4.5cm then area of parallogram

One side is 16 cm which is base


Again distance is taken perpendicularly so perpendicular or altitude is 4.5cm


We know area of parallelogram is =1/2×base×altitude

=1/2×16×4.5

=8×4.5

=36cm^2

Height = 4.5 cm

Base = 16 cm

The Area of the parallelogram is =1/2×base×altitude

=1/2×16×4.5

=8×4.5

=36cm.square
