Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

One side of a parallelogram is 2/3times its adjacent side. if the perimeter of the parallelogram is 50 cm.

To find:-

find all its sides.

Solution:-

Let the adjacent side of a Parallelogram = X cm

Then the one side of the paralellogram=2/3(X)

=2X/3 cm

then the all sides of the paralellogram=

X cm, 2X/3 cm, X cm , 2X/3 cm

since opposite sides are equal in a Parallelogram.

Perimeter of the paralellogram=Sum of all sides

=>P=X+2X/3+X+2X/3

=>P=2X+(4X/3)

=>P=(6X+4X)/3

=>P=10X/3 cm

According to the given problem,

Perimeter of the Paralellogram=50 cm

=>10X/3=50

=>10X=3×50

=>10X=150

=>X=150/10

=>X=15

adjacent side =15 cm

and 2X/3=2(15)/3=30/3=10cm

One side =10 cm

Answer:-

The all sides of the given Parallelogram are

15 cm , 10 cm ,15 cm ,10 cm

Check:-

The all sides of the given Parallelogram are

15 cm , 10 cm ,15 cm ,10 cm

Perimeter=15+10+15+10=50 cm

one side =2/3 (adjacent side)

=>2(15)/3

=>30/3

=10 cm
