let the length of one side be x
then other side=x+2.5
therefore,
2(x+x+2.5)=51
2x+2.5=51/2
2x=25.5-2.5
2x=23
x=23/2
x=11.5
therefore one side =x=11.5cm
another side=x+2.5=11.5+2.5=14cm
the sides are 11.5 cm and 14 cm(ans)
then other side=x+2.5
therefore,
2(x+x+2.5)=51
2x+2.5=51/2
2x=25.5-2.5
2x=23
x=23/2
x=11.5
therefore one side =x=11.5cm
another side=x+2.5=11.5+2.5=14cm
the sides are 11.5 cm and 14 cm(ans)
