Step-by-step explanation:

In Parallelogram opposite side are equal.

One side length = 20 cm

Adjacent side length = x

Then,

Perimeter of Parallelogram

= 2*20 + 2x

Given

40 + 2x = 70

2x = 30

x = 15

Measure of adjacent side is 15 cm

Given - One side of parallelogram : 20 cm

Perimeter : 70 cm

Find - Other side of parallelogram

Solution - Perimeter of parallelogram can be calculated by adding length of all the sides of perimeter. As we know, opposite sides in parallelogram are equal in length.

Thus, let us assume adjacent side of parallelogram to be x centimetres.

Now we know other adjacent sides, so, calculating perimeter, we get -

70 = 2*(20 + x)

70/2 = 20 + x

35 = 20 + x

x = 35 - 20

x = 15

Hence, perimeter of parallelogram is 15 centimetres.
