Answer:

  • Sides of the parallelogram are 20,15,20,15.

To find:

  • The sides of the parallelogram?

Given:

  • One side of a parallelogram is 3/4 times its adjacent side.
  • The perimeter of the parallelogram is 70cm.

Solution:

Let us assume of adjacent sides of the parallelogram as a and b

Perimeter = 2( a + b ) = 70

  • B = 3/4a

➥ 2( a + 3/4a ) = 70

➥ 2( 2a + 3a/2 ) = 70

➥ 2( 2a + 3a ) = 70 × 2

➥ 7a = 140

➥ a =  \bf \dfrac{140}{7}

➥ a = 20

Thus, B = 3/4 × 20

➥ B = 15

  • We know that, Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal.

Therefore, Sides of the parallelogram are 20,15,20,15.
