one side of a parallelogram is 54 cm and corresponding altitude is 16 cm .if the altitude correspondimg isthe adjecent side is 24 cm ,find the length of the altitude

one side of parellelogram = 54cm
altitude = 16 cm
so, area = side x altitude
= 54 cm x 16 cm
= 864 cm sq

so, area = 864 cm sq
one side = 24 cm
let the altitude be x.
then,
24 * x = 864
24x = 864
x = 864/24
x = 36

so, length of altitude = 36 cm
