Solution:-
Let there is a right angled triangle with sides AC, AB and BC and AC be the longest side of this triangle.
So, in Δ ABC   AC = 1 m, AB = 80 cm or 0.8 m and BC = ?
AC² = AB² + BC²
(1)² = (0.8)² = (BC)²
(BC)² = 1 - 0.64
(BC)² = 0.36
BC = 0.6 m
Now, the area of the triangle = 1/2 × Base × Height
= 1/2 × 0.6 × 0.8
Area of triangle = 0.24 sq m
Cost of scarf = 250 × 0.24
= Rs 60

Step-by-step explanation:

Let there is a right angled triangle with sides AC,AB,BP and AC

so, in ∆ABC

AC = 1m

AB = 80cm or 0.8m

BC = ?

AC sq. = AB sq. + BC sq.

1 sq. = 0.8 + BC sq.

BC sq. = 1 - 0.64

BC sq. = 0.36

BC = 0.6 m

Now, the area of triangle = 1/2 x Base x Height

(Area of triangle cost of scarf)

= 1/2 x 0.6 x 0.8

= 0.24 sq. m

= 250 x 0.24

= 60 Ans:
