Answer:

the area is 24 x 10 = 240m^2

and perimeter is (24 x 2) + (10 x 2) = 68m

Step-by-step explanation:

Using  Pythagorean theorem,

assuming X as vertical length,

26^2 = 24^2 + X^2

676 = 576 + X^2

100 = X^2

then, X = 10

for the area, 24 x 10 = 240

for perimeter, (24 x 2) + (10 x 2) = 68

\mathcal {Follow\ me\ and\ mark\ as\ brainliest}

Let breadth be x
Let length be y
Let the diagonal be z

By PYTHAGORAS THEOREM

z^{2}=x{2}+y{2}

 26^{2}=24^{2}+x^{2}

676=576+  x^{2}

100 =  x^{2}

√100 = x

x=10

lengtht =10m

AREA = 10×24 =  240m^{2}

PERIMETER = 2(10+24)= 68m
