Let x is the number of total students in class and

a be the no. of students who joined sports club

by the given condition,

we have,

1/6x = a (1)

3/5a = 6 (2)

6 students play table tennis

hence,

( 3/5) × ( 1/6)x = 6

1/10x = 6

x = 6x10

X= 60

that is there are 60 students in a class

and 1/6× 60 = a

a = 10×1

a = 10

that is there are 10 student who joined sports club
