As we can see the complete figure has 3 different shapes in it.

Triangle at the top, followed by a square and then a trapezium.

We need to compute the area of each of these figures.

As the sides of the triangle are 5, 4 & 3, by using pythagoras theorem we know that hypotenuse²=base²+height².

As 5²=4²+3², hence the triangle is a right angle triangle with base 4m and height 3m.

Hence area of the triangle = 1/2*b*h = 1/2*4*3 = 6m²

Area of the square below it is 4*4 = 16m²

Area of the trapezium = 1/2(sum of parallel sides)*height

= 1/2*(8+4)*5 = 30m²

Hence the total area of the figure = 6+16+30 = 52m²

The cost to paint one m² is Rs 15

Hence the cost to paint 52 m² = 15 * 52 = Rs.780/-
