1) Two major components of biotic environment are Plants and Animals.

2) The biosphere is defined as the zone where both living organisms and the products of their activities are found. So it plays an important role to maintain the ecosystems, that is the life of organisms and their mutual interactions. And biosphere is very important to regulate the climate.

3) An atmosphere is the layers of gases surrounding a planet or other celestial body. Earth's atmosphere is composed of about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and one percent other gases. The atmosphere protects living things from the Sun's most harmful rays. Gases reflect or absorb the strongest rays of sunlight (figure below). The atmosphere shields Earth from the most harmful solar rays.

4) The environment can be defined as a sum total of all the living and non-living elements and their effects which influence human life. While all living or biotic elements are animals, plants, forests, fisheries, and birds, etc. The non-living or abiotic elements include water, land, sunlight, rocks, and air, etc.

5) Mining, hunting, poaching, forest fires, agricultural expansion, deforestation, expansion of railways.

6) All organisms such as plants, animals, microorganisms and human beings interact with the non-living physical surroundings in an area called as the ecosystem.
