Olá User!
Here's ur answer.
Vultures as well as Fungi follow same pattern of consuming there food.

⭐ Fungi consumes it's food saprophytically by feeding on dead and decaying organisms and turning them into composit like substance.

⭐ Though Vultures also feed on dead and decaying organisms but they don't convert them into that composit like substance.

Hope it helps!!

I will try to give my best answer according to my knowledge:

See we know that fungi (mushroom for example) has saprophytic mode of nutrition that is they feed on dead and decaying matter by decomposing the matter by secretion of digestive enzymes.

While in vulture the mode of nutrition is heterotrophic i.e. they can't prepare their own food. It is not always that they eat dead matter, sometimes you will see vulture to eat fruits also.

Next thing is that vulture do not have enzymes of saprotrophs to decompose the matter. Thence, the mode of nutrition is different.
