2. The two categories of crops based on season are Rabi crops and Kharif crops . (i) Rabi crops :- These crops are gown in rabi season i.e. in winter season , these crops are grown in October/November and they are harvested in March/April

4.Kharif crops are the crops which are sown at the beginning of the rainy season, e.g. between April and May. Rabi crops are the crops that are sown at the end of monsoon or at the beginning of winter season, e.g. between September and October.
