For having unique solution,

 \frac{a_1}{a_2} \ne  \frac{b_1}{b_2}

kx + 2y = 3

3x + y = 10

Here, a₁ = k, a₂ = 3 and b₁ = 2, b₂ = 1

 \frac{k}{3}   \ne  \frac{2}{1}  \\  \\ k \ne 6

A1 / A2 ≠ B1 / B2

K / 3 ≠ 2 / 1

K ≠ 6

Therefore , for all values of K , except 6 , the given pair of equation will have unique solution
