Kolkata, AB School, 25January : The great sage and Educationist - Swami Vivekananda had asserted , " Education is the manifestation of the perfection of divinity already in man."

Keeping in mind his great quote, AB School organised a 'Quality Week' from 12th January to 19th January  to help all students achieve perfection in all their work and to commemorate his birth anniversary.

The Sheriff of Kolkata, Mr. X was invited as the Chief Guest. He gave a great speech on the value of quality in life. He emphasised that all of us should focus on quality and not quantity.

After his speech our revered Principal delivered a speech on the ways to achieve quality.

A cultural function was organised where our students performed various feats of Art.

Throughout the Quality Week celebration various activities were arranged.

There was a Science Exhibition where students could display there own created Models.

A story telling competition was held where students narrated their own written stories.

A calligraphy competition was arranged to encourage students to write in a quality style.

An elocution competition was held were students had to recite their self written poem or speech.

All these events were held to elevate the quality of work among the students.

On the 19th January a felicitation ceremony was organised. The Vice Chancellor of Kolkata University, Dr. XY was invited to give away the prizes to all the award winners and participants.  

The programme was concluded with the Vote of Thanks rendered by our Principal.

The 'Quality Week' turned out to be a run away hit. It is hoped to be celebrated every year.
