Oranges are to be transferred from larger box into smaller box. When a large boxes is emptied, the oranges from it fill two smaller box and still 10 oranges remaining outside. If the number of oranges in a small box are taken to be x, what is the number of oranges in the larger box?

If one small box is 'x' then,
One big box = x + x + 10 = 2x + 10
Answer. Number of oranges in the big box is (2x + 10).
