- order: it is the sum of the concentration terms on which rate of reaction actually depends whereas molecularity of a reaction is the number of atoms , ions or molecules that must collide with one another to form products in a chemical reaction.
- order of reaction can be fractional as well as zero whereas molecularity of the reaction cannot be zero or fractional.
