Let the angle of incidence = i

Let the angle of reflection = r

Let the angle of refraction = r'

Angle of refraction = ∠r' = i - 22

Angle of reflection = i = r + 22

As the light is incident on the glass slab thus we will have a polarizing angle

Polarizing angle = 0 = θp = 90−r  

Angle of deviation, δ = θp − r = 22  

⇒ (90−r)−r =22  

2r = 90−22

2r = 68  

r = 34

Thus, the value of angle of refraction is 34°
