Fungi and Algae undergo mutualistic mode of nutrition to firm lichen.
Algae, being chlorophyllous and hence autotrophic, produce its food which it shares with the algae.On the other hand, fungi provides the algae shelter.... This is how they show a symbiotic relationship .
Other examples can be Rhizobium leguminosarum(bacteria) and leguminous crops etc..
