Sexual reproduction is seen in animals like dog, cat etc and asexual reproduction is seen in mostly unicellular organisms like amoeba, euglena and in plants.

The organisms who do not need a partner to reproduce, or in other words a single organism can reproduce without involving any other organism, then it is called asexual reproduction. This does not involve sexual parts either. Examples are chlamydomonas, euglena, amoeba etc.

The organisms who need a partner of the other sex to reproduce. A male and a female of the type are required in this type of reproduction. Like in humans, a male and a female are required to reproduce. Examples of sexual reproduction are cat, humans, dogs, etc.

Hope it helps!
