because in our country there r many languages and people in different States speak different languages so Constitution can't give any particular language the status of national language

our constitution didn't give the status of national language beacuse India is a diverse county. It is diverse in the language too. People of different regions communicate and understand different language. Thus in schedule 8 of constitution 22 languages are marked official. Imposing any particular language can also create riots. Still there are demands to create states on the basis of language.
