Well, you start by stating a premise which is not necessarily true. I would say it is not determined, rather correlated. And thus the justification might be a bit different.
You would think that our moral determines our lifestyle, but it it rather the other way around; our lifestyle determines our moral. Within climate change attitude, there was a comprehensive Yale study about ten years ago, showing that Republicans denied climate change more than Democrats. One important reason for that was that Republicans in general, do not want the government to interfere in their life, and climate change is something requiring central legislation and activities. Thus, climate change was in conflict with their beliefs, and they rejected climate change caused by humans. Psychologically that is called cognitive dissonance.
Related to cognitive dissonance is confirmation bias, which is basically to search for knowledge which strengthens your current beliefs and beliefs of your social context, and there are many sources of information which rejects climate change. Even though these sources are dubious, some people want to believe them, and thus they do.
So, it is more interesting to ask what kind of persons are mostly under the influence of cognitive dissonance, and how to address that.
