Our mouth really is built as an eating and munching machine. Humans, by nature are herbivorous and this is evident from the various kinds of teeth we have, from flat teeth suitable for a vegetarian teeth or sharp front teeth more suitable for meats. Apart from that, our jaws muscles are very very powerful and have huge snapping power. Also, Humans love to eat, and enjoy constantly using their jaws, one of the reasons why we love to chew gum or eat crisps even if we are not hungry. Furthermore the tongue is made for sensing and providing taste.
Our mouth overall is a powerful sensory, munching machine
