Answer:

People often debate over gender discrimination and construction of the roles of a woman in a society. It is not surprising that the debate has succeeded to get positive attention of many men largely because society wasn’t always going to rest on the shoulders of men nor were women going to remain passive all their lives. People, societies, and nations in general keep on evolving as Heraclitus (535-475 BC) said, “The Only Thing That Is Constant Is Change”; it is impossible for any wise person to get lost in the superiority or inferiority of one gender over another thinking that it will last forever. However, despite the boom in information technology, a sufficient number of women I see around or hear about still suffer believing that they are not equal to men and are inferior to them somehow.

Explanation:

Surprisingly, women; many of them, still see themselves through the prism of their socially constructed roles. They grow up fitting into the role of a daughter who is supposed to be an expert at house chores whereas a son would be free to go out and indulge in to any healthy or unhealthy activity. The second stage of life would expect this daughter to fit into the role of a perfect wife who has no opinion about anything and is fully dedicated to serve her husband anyway he commands. Then comes the role of mother which she defines for herself and carries on the legacy of this society by imposing the same daughter and perfect wife roles on her daughters.
