Total voter in the constituency = 12000.

Total percantage those who voted = 60%

Since total constituency is equal to 100%,

Then the percentage of voters did not vote = 100 - 60 = 40%.

So the total number of persons did not vote = 40% of 12000 = 40/100 of 12000 = 4800 people.

Ans: 40% and 4800 people.

Hi ,

Total voters in the constituency = 12000--( 1 )

Number of people voted = 60% of 12000

= ( 60/100 ) × 12000

= 7200 ---( 2 )

Number of people non voters = ( 1 ) - ( 2 )

= 12000 - 7200

= 4800

I hope this helps you.
