Out of 25 examples Varun,can solve 18 examples and out of 75 examples,Meena could solve 42 examples.Whose performance was better?

Given : Out of 25 examples Varun can solve 18 examples

out of 75 examples, Meena could solve 42 examples.

To Find : Whose performance was better

Solution:

Out of 25 examples Varun can solve 18 examples

=> Varun solving percentage = (18/25) * 100

= 18 * 4

= 72 %

Out of 75 examples Meena can solve 42 examples

=> Meena solving percentage = (42/75) * 100

= (42/3) * 4

= 14 * 4

= 56 %

72 % > 56 %

Varun  performance was better
