Answer:

Solution:

A/q:

Total no. of tourists = 250

Percentage of tourists who have already visited Pokhara = 40%

No. of tourists who have already visited Pokhara = 40/100 × 250 = 100

Percentage of tourists who have visited Lumbini = 30%

No. of tourists who have visited Lumbini = 30/100 × 75

Percentage of tourists who have visited both the places = 10%

No. of tourists who have visited both the places = 10/100 × 250 = 25

So,

a) No. of tourists who have not visited Pokhara and Lumbini = (Total no. of students ) - ( No. of tourists who have visited Pokhara + No. of tourists who have visited Lumbini + No. of tourists who have visited both the places)

                         = 250 - (100+75+25)

                         = 250 - 200

                         = 50

b) No. of tourists who have visited Lumbini only = 75
