Out of 48 students, 1/3rd play cricket and basketball; 1/4th play cricket and football; 1/6th play football and basketball. No students play only basketball. Number of students playing only cricket is double of students playing only football. Find fraction of students playing cricket.

See first it's saying no student play basketball so 1/3 is first fraction of children play cricket.
Then it's saying That number of students playing only cricket is double of students playing football so fraction will be 1/12
So now 1/3+1/12=5/12

cricket plus basketball equals 16
football plus cricket =12
football plus basketball equals 8
remaining students equals 48-36=12
number of students playing basketball =0
let,only football playing students=x
cricket =2x
now,2 times x + 1 times x=12
x=4
cricket students=12+16+8=36
fraction = 36/48
