out of 5 kg fruits, 2.5kg were consumed by parents and 1.25kg were consumed by children of a family how many fruits in kg are remaing now ? pls by short explanation

Answer:

the answer is 1.25 because if we add 2.5+1.25 it will be 3.75 and if we minus it by five it will be 1.25
