out of 7526 flats in a new colony a builder sold 3839 flate in the first booking.in the second bookings he sold 1012 less flats than in the first booking .How many flats are still unsold​

in the first booking 3839 flats is being sold

in the second booking 1012 flats less than less than first booking is sold = 3839-1012

= 2027

total flat sold is equals to flats sold in first booking plus the flat sold in second booking

I.e. = 3839+2027

= 5966

number of flats left = 7256-5966

= 1390
