Step-by-step explanation:
total no. of students - those who love neither =100-25
= 75 = students who love either math or poetry
now, 75 - those who love math
= 75 -60 = 15
so this means that that these 15 no. of students love only poetry
therefore, now, subtract these 15 no. of students from 40 = 40-15 = 25
thus, these 25 no. of students love both math and poetry
hence, p = no. of outcomes/ total outcomes =25/100
= 1/4 = this would be my answer.
