Answer:

40 students

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: total=150

1/3rd for Sanskrit

2/5th for German

Rest for french.

To find: No of persons opted French

Opted Sanskrit=1/3×150=50(150÷3=50, 50 and 150 gets cancelled while multiplying, there will be 50 remaining in 150)

Opted German=2/5×150=2×30=60(150÷5=30, 30 and 150 gets cancelled while multiplying, there will be 30 remaining in 150).

So, the number of persons opted French

=Total no.of students - (No.of. students opted Sanskrit+ No.of. students opted German)

=150-(50+60)

=150-110

=40

Hence, 40 students in that class opted French.
