Let the pair of complementary angles be
x,90-x
Given,
A pair of complementary angles one is 2/7th of the other.
→x=(2/7)(90-x)
7x=180-2x
9x=180
x=20
Pair of complementary angles is 20°,70°
I hope this will help you ;)

Heya !!!
Let one angle be X°
Other angle = 2/7 of X
We know that,
Sum of two complementary angle = 90°
2/7 × X + X = 90°
2X/7 + X = 90°
2X + 7X = 90 × 7
9X = 90 × 7
X = 90° × 7 / 9
X = 10 × 7 = 70°
One angle = X° = 70°
And,
Other angle = 2/7 × X = 2/7 × 70° = 20°
