Acetic acid has higher boiling point than ethanol due to presence of oxygen (electronegative) atom.
ethanol has one oxygen atom and acetic acid contains two oxygen atom so therefore acetic acid forms more H-bonds (hydrogen bonds) then that of ethanol with its neighboring molecules and a network of more and strong Hydrogen bonding is present in acetic acid.
