CH3COOH is a weak acid because it doesn't completely dissociates into ions in its aqueous solution

Out of HCL and CH3COOH, CH3COOH is a weak acid because its pH is higher than the pH value of hydrochloric acid. It can be demonstrated with the help of following activity:
1. Put some drops of dilute ethanoic acid on the universal indicator paper. It is observed that the pH is found to be around 4,
2.Repeat the same with the hydrochloric acid. It is found that the pH of HCl is about 1. This proves that HCI is a strong acid than Ethanoic acid.
