Let total income be x

house rent+house expenses+savings=total income

20%of x+70% 0f x+3600=x

x/5+7x/10+3600=x

x/5+7x/10-x=-3600

2x+7x-10x=-3600×10

-x=-36000

x=36000

hence total income of Mr. Raj per month =rs36000
