Out of his monthly income mr.moti lal spends 20 percent on house rent and 60 percent of the rest on house hold expenses .if he saves ₹2520 per month,what is his income?

= 40% of 80% of his income

= \frac{40}{100} of \frac{80}{100} of his income = ₹2520 [This information is given]

=> \frac{8}{25} of his income = ₹2520

∴ Mr Lal's income = ₹2520 x \frac{25}{8} = ₹315 x 25 = ₹7,875
