solution:
   let the number of men in a village be x
so, number of women = 5000-x
by the question,
  ( x + 10%of x)+ ( 5000-x + 15%of(5000-x))=5600
or, 11x/10 +  (100000-20x+15000-3x)/20=5600
or, (22x+115000-23x)/20= 5600
or, 115000-x=112000
or,x = 3000
so there were 3000 men in the village .

hii friend ☺!

Here is your Answer!!

suppose number of males =x
and number of females =y
so
x+y=5000
after increase males by 10% X1
=110x1/100
and female by 15% y
=115y/100
and X+y =5600............(1)
so putting values of x and y

110x+115y=560000.............(2)

now solve equation 1 & 2

after solving both equation

y =2000 female
X =3000 male ans
